September 28, 2016 To Whom it May Concern: I am pleased to write a letter of support for Changyuan (Calvin) Liu-‐Navarro. Calvin is a Lead Mentor in the International Mentorship Program that I manage. I have worked with him in this capacity since April 2016. In the short six months that I have known Calvin, he has demonstrated excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills as well as a strong work ethic. It is for these reasons that I write to you today on his behalf. As lead mentor, Calvin and I work closely together to coordinate and facilitate peer mentor trainings, program-‐wide events, and bi-‐weekly mentor meetings. He helps manage our fifteen peer mentors, checking in with them on their interactions with their mentees, communicating programmatic information, and ultimately serves as a mentor to our peer mentors. Calvin has extensive experience in organizing a variety of events, including community service projects. Calvin is a tremendous asset to our program, and it he is a pleasure to work with.
