DEAR ST. PAUL CHURCH, On behalf of the Wise family, we would like to thank you from the “bottoms of our hearts,” for being a part of remembering our dad. He had many fond memories of St. Paul, and that is where the Lord built his foundation. Special thanks goes to Pastor, Don, David, Jimmy, Jane, Denny, and the ladies who helped with the luncheon. Funerals a very tough on the family, but all of you made it meaningful and gave it purpose. Thank you for all your thoughts, actions, donations, and prayers. But most of all, thank you

for allowing our Lord, Jesus Christ to work through you to comfort our family and friends. May Christ bless this church and reap a harvest for his glory. Sincerely, the Wise Family

HESED HOUSE SERVANT EVENT Our next servant event at our local homeless shelter will be February 14-15. If you are able to donate food or time, please sign up at the Welcome Center in the Ministry Opportunities Book under the Hesed House tab. Monetary donations are also accepted. Since one of the items we will be serving for dinner will be sloppy joes, we are looking for volunteers/donors to cook ahead and freeze 5-10 pounds of sloppy joes. We would provide the recipe. As our event is on Valentine’s Day, we are also looking for homemade Valentines cookies as another item. The sign-up sheets show all of the other items. Thank you for showing God's love on Valentine’s Day to the area's poorest! Please contact the Hesed House Ministry Co-Chairs with any questions: Sonja Meyer, [email protected], 630-464-8210, Terri Carlson, [email protected], 630-606-3793.

DENTIST WITH A HEART

The 15th annual “Dentist With a Heart” month will be held throughout February, 2015. Many area dentists from the Fox Valley area will be opening their doors to the needy, offering free services for the month. $1 million in free services have been provided to over 3,500 patients in the last 10 years. FREE SERVICES FOR THE DAY INCLUDE: • CLEANING • X-RAY • DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES • FILLINGS • EXTRACTIONS We will not be able to provide more involved services such as crowns, bridges, root canals and dentures due to time constraints. We limit our services to patients over the age of 3 years and an adult must accompany anyone under 18. How do I get treatment? Simply select a date, and service location from the list of participating dentists. Some appointments are needed or specific days are scheduled and calls will not be taken. Simply arrive at the location selected prior to the starting time listed for that office. Patients will be treated on a first come, first serve basis. What if I am unable to receive treatment at that location? Select another date and service location. Be sure to arrive early to insure your chances of receiving treatment that day. Who is eligible? Anyone in need, from ages 3 years through adults. An adult must accompany anyone under the age of 18. Do I need to bring proof of income or need? No. The event is run on an honor system. We trust that if you seek treatment you are truly in need.

http://dentistwithaheartonline.org Kitty will have the schedules available in the parish nursing “corner” near

the narthex kitchen or leave a message and I’ll email them to you
