CALL FOR PAPERS WWW.WREC2016INDONESIA.COM “Sustainable Energy for All and All for Sustainable Energy” ABOUT THE CONGRESS The Indonesian Renewable Energy Society (IRES), in collaboration with World Renewable Energy Network (WREN), will host the 15 th World Renewable Energy Congress 2016 (15 th WREC) in conjunction with in conjunction with “The 5th Indonesia Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation Summit” (5 th IRES) on September 19 – 23, 2016 at the Jakarta International Convention Center. This international congress will discuss the most up to date status and further prospects of clean energy development in the world. WREC has been held bi-annually by WREN and its partners across the world since 30 years. IRES is an annual event of IRES/METI to disseminate various policies, discuss various technologies and promote investment from international to national scope to support the development of renewable energy and energy conservation in Indonesia. Under the theme “Sustainable Energy for All and All for Sustainable Energy” The five days congress will have several Plenary Sessions, Technical Session, Investment Forum discussing various topics within the renewable energy sectors; Solar, Wind, Hydro, Ocean, Geothermal and Energy Efficiency and Conservation System. MISSION STATEMENTWorld renewable energy development and application are growing fast – providing jobs for millions of people globally and triggering annual investment of over 250 billion US dollars world-wide. Renewables Energy can drastically reduce dependence on fossil energy which most countries have to import from somewhere else to fuel their economy, and provide increasing contributions to meet the global energy demand. Renewables are the cornerstones and at the same time the foundation for a truly sustainable energy future on this planet. Our primary mission is to promote enabling policies and to encourage further a broad range of renewable energy technologies and applications in virtually all sectors of the economy including for electricity production and consumption, transportation, manufacturing and services industries and in social activities, all leading toward A BETTER, CLEANER AND SAFER WORLD.
