CALL FOR OFFICIALS PRELIMINARY ROUNDS OF EYP THE NETHERLANDS 2013/2014  

Dear alumni of EYP the Netherlands,

The Preliminary Rounds of the European Youth Parliament the Netherlands are slowly approaching. We hereby happily launch the call for applications for these sessions. The Preliminary Rounds are the perfect place to practise what you have learned at  the Alumni Weekend, and to further develop your skills in different officials’ roles. Participating as an official at our Preliminary Rounds forms the perfect stepping stone for future positions at sessions all over Europe. Moreover, the Preliminary Rounds are some of the most important events of EYP the Netherlands, and by applying to these sessions, you can contribute to the development of our organisation!

This year again, we have some spectacular teams of Head-organisers and Presidents that are eagerly waiting to work with you!

You will have to be present at the venue from 16.00 onwards on Friday, and the session ends after 18.00 on Sunday.

What positions can I apply for?

We are looking for chairpersons, journalists, organisers and jurors.

Where can I find the application form?

The application form can be found in the Weekly Update, as well as on our Issuu account. In order to apply, you are required to complete the form and send it to applications@eyp.nl.

You will be asked for some general information about yourself, your session history and you will be asked to write a short statement of motivation.

Procedure

All alumni can apply for the positions listed above. Please note that you can apply for multiple sessions in different roles. All application forms should be filled in before Monday the 14th of October, 23:59. The Board of EYP the Netherlands will consider the applications and select the respective teams. We will try to finish the selection as soon as possible. You will be notified individually of the result, between the deadline and two weeks after that. We will also publish a selection report. As an official, you have an important role in the success of the Preliminary Rounds and we hope you are just as much looking forward to the sessions as we are!
