Trump Turnberry has a selection of luxuriously appointed bedrooms through the hotel and

Turnberry House, each elegantly furnished with rich mahogany and gold leaf. Sparkling chandeliers

feature in every room alongside unrivalled marble bathrooms. Four signature suites are also available

in the hotel, some featuring private balconies.

Perfect for newlyweds is The Turnberry Lighthouse Suite. Standing at almost 80ft tall,

the Turnberry lighthouse was designed by relatives of the author and poet Robert Louis Stevenson.

The foundation of the lighthouse sits on the ruins of the 13th century castle of Robert the Bruce,

where the King of Scots was born.

Situated on the dramatic Ayrshire coastline on the cusp of the Irish sea, The Turnberry Lighthouse Suite

is located between the 9th and 10th hole on the Championship Ailsa course. Elegant in its décor and grand

Caroline, originally from Ayr, and Peter, from Glasgow, met while studying at university

in Edinburgh. Following a fve year romance, they got engaged just before New Year,

on 30th December 2015.

For Caroline and Peter, there was really only one choice of venue to host their special day

– Trump Turnberry, a Luxury Collection Resort, Scotland.

We had 15 months to plan the wedding and I just knew that we would choose Trump Turnberry, as well as visiting as a child,

Peter and I had stayed in the hotel on a few occasions and just loved it.

The hotel had been refurbished and we just loved the overall elegance The Caledonia Ballroom was so beautiful but it also provided a blank

canvas for the decor which allowed our theme for the day to come through.

Everyone was in agreement that Trump Turnberry really is somewhere special and we can’ t imagine having had our wedding

anywhere else.

Amy and Harry Sheddon

Despite living in the same South Ayrshire town of Girvan, Harry Sheddon, 29,

and Amy Scobie, 25, had never actually crossed paths until Amy’s aunt stepped into

play matchmaker.

After a three year romance, Harry popped the question to Amy and they began

planning the wedding of their dreams.

We couldn’ t have asked for a better person than Carrie to help guide us through our wedding experience at Trump Turnberry,

she gave us lots of great advice.

We did our food tasting on Valentine’s weekend at The Chef’s Table, which was a lovely touch, and the kitchen team were able to tailor our

menu so it was exactly what we wanted.”

We were wowed by how incredible the ballroom looked, as were our guests. We just knew we’ d made the right decision in choosing Turnberry. From the staff, the service and the setting, it really was the perfect

destination for us to become Mr & Mrs.
