Calculating SCSEP Income Eligibility can feel like rocket science!
1. 2015 Federal Poverty Guideline – Revised yearly in January.
2. TEGL NO. 12-06 - Revised Income Inclusions and Exclusions and Procedures for Determining SCSEP Eligibility (12-28-06).
3. When in doubt, do a search in the SCSEP Data Collection Handbook.

Official documents showing income include but are not limited to the following:

If married, then SCSEP candidate must bring in spouse’s income documents
What documents are needed to calculate income?
Assume you have all the necessary documents.
Assume the monthly income amounts given started a year ago.
Your packet has the Income Worksheets, TEGL 12-06, and other information that you may need.
Calculators are available on each table.
You can work together or on your own.
We’ve thrown a few challenges in just to keep you on your toes.
