/ 2 Kings 5:14-17/ 2 Timothy 2:8-13Ten lepers cry out to Jesus for help. In Jesus’ time, lepers were outcasts of society. Jesus tells them to go show themselves to the priests, who will witness their healed condition and allow them back into society. Only one leper, a Samaritan, returns to Jesus to praise and thank God. This man is not a Jew but a foreigner. Jesus points out that the Samaritan leper has gained something far more important than a physical cure; he has gained his eternal salvation. / Luke 17:11-19

Lucas 17:18/ 2 Reyes 5:14-17/ 2 Timoteo 2:8-13Diez leprosos claman a Jesús en busca de ayuda. En tiempos de Jesús, los leprosos eran marginados por la sociedad. Jesús les dice que vayan y se presenten ante los sacerdotes, para que sean testigos de su condición de curados y les permitan reinte-grarse a la sociedad. Pero sólo un leproso samaritano, vuelve a Jesús para alabar y dar gracias a Dios. Este hombre no es judío, es extranjero. Jesús entonces anuncia que el leproso samaritano ha ganado algo mucho más importante que la curación física, que ha ganado su salvación eterna. / Lucas 17:11-19

Venta de artículos usados: Los invitamos a venir a una venta de artículos usados, el sábado 19 de octubre de 2019, de las 8 am - 12:00 pm, patrocinado por las comunidades de inglés. Se llevará a cabo en el esta-cionamiento de Santa Rosa. Algunos de los ingresos irán al fondo de la parroquia. Se venderán donas, café, nachos y bebidas.

TRATAMIENTO DE TERMITAS: IGLESIA Y RECTORÍALamentablemente, se nos informó que la iglesia y la rectoría tienen termitas. El tratamiento está programado para este martes 15 de octubre. Todos los edificios estarán cerrados desde el martes 15 de octubre hasta el jueves 17 de octubre. Las misas y todas las actividades han sido canceladas.

TERMITES’ TREATMENT: Church & RectoryUnfortunately we were informed that the church & rectory have termites. The treatment is scheduled for this Tuesday, October 15th. All buildings will be closed from Tuesday October 15th thru Thursday, October 17th. Masses and all activities have been cancelled.

RUMMAGE SALE: You are invited to a rummage sale Saturday, October 19, from 8 am - 12:00pm sponsored by the English Small Faith Com-munities. It will be held at the Santa Rosa parking lot by the school lunch area. Some of the proceeds will go to the parish fund. Refreshments will also be sold. Please come and support the Ministry.
