Welcome, Friends and Guests If we can help you in any way, please speak to Pastor David or Pastor Caleb, or to any worship assistant. We invite you to be part of our church family. Our pastors are available after worship to speak or pray with you. Children and Worship We encourage families to worship together. For times your child might need a short break, Children’s Bulletins and books are available in the Commons, and the Nursery provides a quiet room with rocking chairs and changing table. New Members You may become a member of Lord of Life through Transfer or through our New Member Class (scheduled periodically). Transfers can obtain a Request for Transfer from the church office. Pastor David will schedule a home visit with both Transfers and New Member Class participants. A new members class currently meets in the Conference Room on Sunday mornings. Stay Connected Follow our latest news on the website – announcements, sermons, photos, calendar, newsletter. Please remember to update any address, phone, and email changes with the office. Prayer Ministry Public prayers may be phoned to the office or emailed to [email protected]; or to [email protected] for confidential submissions. Gather - Sunday Happenings The first half of the Church Year is filled with feasts and festivals (from Advent to Pentecost). The second half of the Church Year is comprised of a steadier rhythm. The season of Pentecost is a time of consistency in the Church Year. Green is the color for the season of Pentecost. Green evokes a sense of growth and life. The season of Pentecost is a time for the church to deepen its roots, to be watered and bask in the sunlight, and to let God provide growth. Altar Flowers You may sign up on the Info Board to purchase flowers for $40 to honor special people and events. Today’s flowers are given by Vic and Betty Tabbert in celebration of their 65th Wedding Anniversary, and by Jeff and Kim Regler in celebration of their 39th Wedding Anniversary. Children’s Church This special time for Ages 3-7 is offered during 10:30 am worship. Children hear a story, do a craft, and have a snack.
