Answer: Cameos They are Alfred Hitchcock, Quentin Tarantino and Stan Lee. All of them have cameos in their films. “Did you miss me” by Moriarity can also refer to the directors asking whether you missed their appearance in the film.
2. No, no, no, I kill the bus driver.
Answer: Kapil Dev The photo on top is that of Haryana’s folk dance, and the one below is a hurricane. Haryana Hurricane was his nick name. And Kapil Dev wanted to be a bus driver. Not so random after all.
3. Magic is Might!
Answer: FELICITY The first letters of the names of the characters from the various magical worlds form the answer. They are Fawkes, Eragon, Legolas, Igor Karkaroff, Caspian, Isildur, Tin man and Ygritte.
4. Mind your actions
Answer: Giorgos Katidis First image shows Hitler saluting, and second is that of the Greek soccer team. Mind your action is the title because Giorgos Katidis was banned for performing the Hitler Salute after scoring a goal.
5. What doesn't kill you, makes you smaller.
Answer: Mario The plumber and the jumping kid are relatable to the character. Charles Martinet, in the last image, voices many characters of the game, like Mario, Wario, Luigi, Waluigi, etc. The makers wanted to make the game on Popeye, but were unable to obtain licence. So they created Mario. The title refers to the fact that Mario becomes small on colliding with the Goombas, a pun on “What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.”

Answer: Chetan Bhagat These numbers are from the title of his books Five Point Someone, One Night at the Call Center, 3 Mistakes of My Life, 2 States. The colors represent the colors of the respective book covers, like red for 2 States. The title is a differentiation between IIT (his college) and IIIT.

Answer: Rabindranath Tagore The first image is of the Knight’s tour Tagore was knighted. The second is of the Rabindra Setu, named after him, and the third of the Nobel Prize, of which he was the first Indian and Asian winner. The title is the American National Anthem, because he wrote the Anthems for two countries India and Bangladesh, with an inspiration for Srilanka’s as well.

Answer: Schrodinger’s smile The image is of the famous cat, both dead and alive. This would help you reach Schrodinger. You are asked to say cheese when you have to smile, so the emoticon becomes “Schrodinger’s smile”. There was some confusion regarding that. The answer couldn’t have been Schrodinger’s emoticon, because that was what was asked for in the first place. And what use is the title then?

Answer: Sir Isaac Newton The first image is of the Abbey Road in city of Westminster Newton was buried in Westminster Abbey. The second image of the cat flap, an invention attributed to Newton. The third photo show The Royal Mint, of which he was the warden. And the last is that of Tim Cook, CEO of Apple. Newton and the apple are, of course, famous. Title also points to apple (the fruit).

Answer: Hermione Granger The first image is of Helen of Troy, whose daughter Hermione was the inspiration for the character’s name. Her parents were dentists, and the basilisk features in Harry Potter. Another coincidental connect can be found in the fact that Basilisk’s fangs (teeth) were used to destroy the horcruxes in the books. Hugo is Hermione’s and Ron’s son. Title is the OWL grades of Hermione 9 Os and 1 E (in Defense Against the Dark Arts).
11. I’ve been dropped!
Answer: Brett Lee He featured in a song with Asha Bhosle, does ads for WeetBix, and his ‘Active Wear’ brand was launched by H&A. The title refers to the song by Brett Lee.
12.Why did the chicken cross the road?
Answer: The three numbers refer to the studio albums by Adele, written in the same fonts. Why did the chicken cross the road? To say “hello from the other side.”
13.Lights! Camera! Action!
Answer: Ron Clements and John Musker They are the directors of the movie, scene in this cameo. The title helps guess the fact that we are looking for the directors.
14.Heaven help us
Answer: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle The first image is of Meiringen, near which are situated the Reichenbach Falls where Holmes and Moriarty have the final showdown. The woman is Lucy Liu, who plays the female Watson in the TV show Elementary. The third image is of Portsmouth, for which he was the first ever goalkeeper. And finally, the title “heaven help us” was mis translated by JM Barrie for his team Allahakbarries, of which ACD was an important player.

Answer: Silvio Berlusconi The video link is for the AC Milan anthem, composed by this guy. He is the coowner of the club too. Forza Italia (left) was a movement (political party) of which he was a leader, and Canale 5 (right) is a local station by Mediaset, which he founded.

Answer: CAPTCHA The video describes the Turing Test, used to distinguish between humans and
robots. CAPTCHA stands for “Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart”. The image above is Google, which invented Recaptcha, and the guy is Arthur Darvill, who acted in Captcha (2014). Title refers to the fact that you have to fill it to go ahead with your work.
17.The story of toys feels indebted.
Answer: Studio Ghibli First image is Laputa in Gulliver’s travel, which was the subject of the studio’s first production after founding of the studio (Castle in the Sky). The person on top left is Joe Hisaishi, music composer for almost all the films produced by the studio. And the woman is Nausicaa, inspiration for the film “Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind”, the first film that led to the foundation of the studio. The title refers to the the huge influence that Studio Ghibli was to Pixar and “Toy Story”.

Answer: Captain America Winter is coming meme and the army dog tags point to the second film The Winter Soldier. Star is his symbol. And the last image is the tesseract, that features in the first film. Title refers The First Avenger, so second to none.
19.EA Sports. It’s in the game.
Answer: Andrew Flintoff
He took his shirt off in Mumbai, which provoked Ganguly to do the same in Lords. His middle name is Freddie, and he has started professional boxing. He was the face of the Cricket 07 by EA Sports, hence the title.
20.Out of order
Answer: Star Wars Mark Hamill (voice of Joker in the game) plays Luke Skywalker, Nemo actor Alexander’s birthday is on May the fourth, as was the first Grammy Award function. Andy Serkis (played Gollum in LoTR) plays Supreme Leader Snoke in Star Wars. The title refers to the fact that films are out of order 4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3.
21.You live not only once
Answer: James Bond The GIF is from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, film based on Ian Fleming’s novel, who is also the creator of James Bond. “Asterix and the Black Gold” is inspired by the James Bond films. The shield is of Fettes College, which the agent attended. The guy designed the suits for Bond in the films. Title refers to the film “You Only Live Twice”.
22.Pictures, pictures, everywhere; not a clue to find.
Answer: Xanadu First is the band Rush, which had a song named Xanadu. William Dalrymple (bottom left) wrote the book “In Xanadu”. The third image is of the sled with a rosebud, as in the film Citizen Kane, where the Palace is called Xanadu. The title is a change over water, water, everywhere, from the Ancient Mariner, written by Samuel Taylor Coleridge, who also wrote a poem “Kubla Khan” which describes Xanadu the palace. Bill Gates’ home is called Xanadu 2.0.
23. I could’ve killed one more.
Answer: Gloomy Sunday Answer is the song (also called Hungarian Suicide Song). First image is the song lyrics for Suicide Tango, which featured along with Gloomy Sunday in Schindler’s List, pointed to by the girl in the pink coat (top right). Third image is of a sundae. The title is a pun on the famous line from the film, where Schindler says “I could’ve saved one more”. And here the answer is a suicide song, hence this.

Answer: Magic is Might This is in reference to the statue in the Ministry of Magic (Harry Potter). The first picture is the Worker and Kolkhoz Woman, from which the statue of the Wizard and witch standing atop Muggles is inspired, with the motto: Magic is Might. The second is the logo of the Ministry, and the third is the Fountain of Magical Brethren which got destroyed (and thus replaced) in the duel between Voldemort and Dumbledore. The title refers to the fact that the answer came as a title in the 3rd question, so you have already seen it.

Answer: Tinder No explanations needed now, I guess. The photo on the right is the art director of Home Alone’s son morphed into a female, because they wanted to show Buzz’s girlfriend as ugly, without offending anyone, and we do too. So you swiped it right.

Answer: George Orwell The first image is of the iconic ad on the launch of Macintosh in 1984, inspired by his book 1984. The second is the album cover of Pink Floyd’s Animals, reference to Animal Farm. The third points to Burmese days, another one of his works. The title hints at the genre of the books, as he writes on thought police and censorship.

Charlie Hebdo shootout. They share their information on the encyclopaedia in the image above. The title hints to the anonymity of the group.

Answer: Paul Walker All of these died while doing what they love Phil Hughes while playing cricket, Steve Irwin via stingray injury, and Paul Walker while driving. The third image is that of Porsche, his car in which he died.
31.The calm before a storm
Answer: JK Rowling The guy is John Galbraith, JKR used the pseudonym Robert Galbraith, the other two images are of silkworm and cuckoo clock, both pointing to books written under that pseudonym The Silkworm and The Cuckoo’s Calling. The title refers to the difficulty of the next question

Answer: Tribbiani Sisters Pearson in Suits is played by Gina, the second is Angela Merkel, the third image is cookie monster from Sesame Street, and the fourth is Tina Ambani. All four first names are those shared by the sisters of Joey. Title is written in the form of a friends episode.

Answer: Mila Kunis Timberlake features with her in films, Charlie Sheen was replaced by Kutcher in Two and a Half Men, and “Oz the Great and the Powerful” is her movie. Title refers to Friends with benefits :p

Answer: Chris Columbus The first guy is his Fatherinlaw, second image is the Motherinlaw holding his daughter, third is his wife (all three in Home Alone), and the fourth id that same daughter playing Susan Bones in Harry Potter. A family indeed.

Answer: Fortress of Solitude The guys on the top are Sir William Ramsay and Morris Travers. They together discovered Krypton, also the home planet of Superman. And the third image shows arctic. The connect is Superman’s home away from Krypton in the arctic, hence the title.

Answer: Big Kahuna Burger It’s the fictitious burger chain used in Tarantino films. The image on top shows a character of Reservoir Dogs drinking from the cup of that chain. The next image shows a terrified brett while Jules eat the “tasty” burger from the chain. The third image shows Tarantino from Four rooms inspecting food, which hints into that direction. Title is a famous ezekiel that Jules resides.

Answer: Tere bin Laden Image on the left shows Salman Khan doing the Kukdu Ku action in the Chicken Song in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and the right one is Pencho Slayatkov, a bulgarian writer. The connect is the disclaimer that Kukduk Pencho is to honor the man, and is not an expletive. This comes in the film Tere Bin Laden. Title refers to the man Osama Bin Laden.

Answer: Mr. X Carl Sagan wrote on his experiments with weed under the pseudonym Mr. X. The second image is of Kishore Kumar, who sang this song in Mr. X in Bombay. Third image is Emraan Harshmi, who acted in Mr. X (2015). And finally, we have to catch Mr. X in Scotland Yard, the game. The title comes from the fact that the whereabouts are generally unknown.

Answer: Batman The gif shows dead parents from Tarzan since Batman was an orphan. The logo in the image is the Lincoln car company that created the design of the first
Batmobile in collaboration with Ford. The shield represents a London borough Nottingham which was the setting for Wayne manor in The Dark Knight Rises. The final picture from Imitation Game represents Enigma (Edward Nigma) archenemy of Batman. The title refers to the fact that this is the 42nd question, and 42 is the answer to the life, the universe and everything. Why 42 was supposedly told by Douglas Adams to Stephen Fry who said he would take it with him to the grave.

The title is a pun on the phrase by Thomson and Thompson, “to be precise”.
