Park Permits Permits will be processed on an appointment
basis only. Please make your appointment at least
10 days prior to your desired date to ensure
adequate time to complete this process.
Permits are required for large groups (50+), inflatable jumps, sports field reservations, commercial activities, fitness classes, room reservations and special events. Proof of insurance may be required to obtain permit.

Individuals with Special Needs
All activities accommodate people with disabilities.
Upon availability, Therapeutic Recreation Services
Department will provide additional assistance from
recreation staff requiring a three week advance
notice. An assessment will be determined if one-on-
one aide is needed. Therapeutic Recreation Services
is a Citywide program that provides recreation
opportunities for people with disabilities. More
information is available by calling them at
(619) 525-8247 or (619) 525-8249 TTD.
For all New Customers Click on the “create
account” button. Fill out the new account request
form completely, including all the required fields.
You will then receive a confirmation email at the
address you provided. Please follow directions to
activate your account.
First Time Users Only: Please note: Parent/
Guardian must create their own account first using
their own information. Once you have an online
registration account you will have the opportunity
to add children as family members.
Transaction/Credit Card Fees: In addition to our
$2.00 City Transaction Fee, effective February 17,
2018, all credit card transactions will be charged a
non-refundable 3% credit card processing fee.
*This convenience fee is charged by the company
that provides the credit card processing service.

Online Class Registration is now available!
ActiveNet codes are found with each class for easy
access in locating classes online. Example: (#12345).

Payments, Permits & Registration
Payment Policy for Classes Payment is required prior to the start of the
program. Please pay with EXACT cash, check (payable
to City Treasurer), or credit card. A $25.00 fee will be charged for all returned
checks. Class fees are not prorated or discounted after
the beginning of the scheduled session.
Refund Policy for Classes
No partial refunds or make-ups for missed classes
(i.e. routine illness, vacation, or other schedule
conflicts). Sorry, no exceptions! Any Third party
registration fees (i.e. transaction fees and
processing fees) are nonrefundable. A refund
request form and your registration receipt must
be submitted prior to the second class meeting for
any session long classes. There are no refunds
allowed after the start time of the program. If you
or your child does not participate after the refund
deadline, we cannot process a refund or transfer.
Thank you for your understanding. A $10 Service
Fee may be charged per refund request. All
approved refunds are paid by check. To obtain a
refund request, please contact the site supervisor.
Transfers may be granted under certain
circumstances.

community, including people of all ages, abilities and
income levels through recreation, natural open space
parks, neighborhood parks, and aquatics programs.

Volunteers Needed!
Ongoing opportunities are available at recreation
centers, pools, and regional parks throughout the
City, as well as with senior and therapeutic

Therapeutic Recreation Services
The City of San Diego Park & Recreation Therapeutic Recreation Services (TRS) program provides sports,
recreation, leisure, and outreach services to San Diegans with physical, mental and emotional disabilities.
Services include therapeutic recreation programs and adaptive sports opportunities, which address the
special needs of individuals with disabilities. A limited amount of Inclusion Aides are available to facilitate
the inclusion of individuals with disabilities into programs at their neighborhood recreation centers. Please
call Therapeutic Recreation Services at least three weeks before the program start date to schedule assistance.

Our camp offers a variety of recreational experiences for children ages 5 to 12 years old. Camp is
conveniently located in the Point Loma area and held in well-equipped surroundings. Daze
Camp offers sports activities, arts and crafts, games, field trips and more. The goal of our camp
is to provide a safe, fun and active environment. Our highly qualified and enthusiastic staff
wants your children to experience the endless benefits of a great camp. No refunds or transfers
allowed after the program start time. ***No camp during City Holidays ***

The Dance to Evolve program enables kids to always take that next step to keep them challenged, learning and having fun. Through our great teachers, we offer exciting classes at Cabrillo Recreation Center, specializing in children from the ages of 2-4 years. We are a team who is deeply passionate about what we do! All toddlers and kids dance classes are great for
boys and girls.
