Prime Minister
MEETINGS FOR MINISTERS NOT I THE CABINET
I. Micahel Joplinr and I had a word about this
on Monday evenin7.
You will remember that, in the past, and a
irrecrular interval , you have had meetin-s
at which you and Geoffrey have riven a -per
talk" to Ministersnot in the Cabinet. In
fact, we have had to have the- in two sessions.
Michael Jonlinr sur:rested that it nirht be
timely, with the start of the new ses _on,
to have two such neetinrs in Nov.ember.
I do know that MinistPrsnot in the Cabinet have
welcomed these occasions and I endorse
Michael's recommendation.
You may like ,just to consider whether it would
be better to have th_se meetinrs in November or
in January (after any chanres which you may
wish to make in the Government have beer
implemented).
