An 1840s-era village setting, located on the
northeast side of Fowler Park. The Village
Folk, a volunteer group, are present in the
village every third Saturday in the summer and
during the Pancake Breakfast, Pioneer Days,
and the Christmas Walk. The village is also
frequently used as a setting for school tours,
weddings, reunions, & other special occasions.

Originally located in Sugar
Creek Township on Certain
Road, two miles south of West
Terre Haute, Indiana. Built in
1834. Donated by the Peker
family in 1974.
Originally located in Lockport,
now Riley, Indiana. Built in
1822. Donated by Dan and Iva
Wood’s children in 1970.
Originally located in the Glen-
dale Fish and Wildlife Area in
Daviess County, Indiana. Moved
in 1975.
Originally located east of
Fontanet in Nevins Township,
Vigo County, Indiana. Built
from log home remains in 1978.

of I-70. Built sometime between
1837 and 1858. Donated by
Harley Bennet in 1995.

Indiana. Donated by Ray
Malone in 1987.
Built from logs donated by J.A.
Spears in 2008. Houses five
forges: one primitive, three coal,
and one gas.
Originally located in Bogard
Township, Daviess County,
Indiana. Built in the
mid-1800s. Donated by Mr.
Graber in 1975.
Built as an authentic replica in
1991 by Dr. Kicklighter of
Indiana State University.
Material donations came from
the Preston House and Weston
Paper.
Originally located three and a
half miles southwest of Mt.
Pleasant Church on Ferre Road in
Riley Township, Indiana. Built in
1845. Moved in 1971.
Originally located on the west
end of the Glendale Fish and
Wildlife Area in Daviess
County. Moved and rebuilt in
1975, converted in 2008.
Originally located in Vermil-
lion County. Donated by the
Donald E. Foltz family.
Originally located northeast of
Poland, Indiana, in Jackson
Township, Owen County. Built
in 1825-26. Donated by Gordon
Spelbring in 1995.
Originally located east of
Staunton, with a third of the logs
coming from Sullivan County.
Built in 1848. Donated by Don
Mercer in 1986.
Originally located three miles
southeast of Brazil, Indiana.
Donated by Daisy Huggs in
1980.

Indiana. Built in the early to
mid-1800s. Moved in 1976,
enlarged in 1996. Named C & M
Fox’s Barn in 2001.
Originally located in Riley,
Indiana. Built in the early 1800s.
Donated by Ben Lidster in 1973.
Originally located in Goose
Pond, south of Linton in Greene
County, Indiana. Built between
1830 and 1840. Donated by
Joyce Lakey in 2007.
