A MESSAGE FROMTHE PRESIDENT

Dear Members,

It’s been an exciting time at Rio Grande Credit Union! In late August we had the grand opening of our Cabezon Branch, a state-of-the-art facility that serves members in northwest Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. It was amazing to see how many of you came by to help celebrate this event. We heard great comments about the convenience and ambiance. Our 6th branch is truly a crown jewel!

During the summer, DepositAccounts.com once again choose RGCU as one of the Top 200 Healthiest Credit Unions. This news is something that reflects the hard work that has gone into growing Rio Grande Credit Union. Your Credit Union continues to out-perform our competition and offer a safe and secure financial package to all of us. Read more about our ranking on page 3.

In September, we were notified by the Credit Union Association of New Mexico that RGCU won both the Dora Maxwell and the Louise Herring awards for the state of New Mexico! Each of these awards are prestigious; details are in the article on page 2. As the winner in our state, we will now move forward to the national level and see if Rio Grande Credit Union can once again receive national recognition.

All of these announcements are truly exciting, but it is just a small part of the characteristics that RGCU continues to build. Our belief is simple. We have a responsibility to offer our members a comprehensive package of products that are priced appropriately and to always provide the best possible service. We also have a social responsibility that compels us to make a difference within our community. This was the premise for founding credit unions so many years ago and Rio Grande Credit Union still takes it to heart!

Once again, a big thank you for your valued membership. Without your support, noneof this would be possible. We look forward to serving your financial needs for many years to come.

Sincerely,

Chris Fitzgerald, President/CEO
