Aäron Willem 04As a white thirty-something, the father of three children and an employee, he wrestles with the changing world and a bad conscience. His work serves to ease his conscience and offer comfort in anxious times.
Aryz (Spain) 76The first work which was created in Ghent by Aryz, originally from Barce-lona, was commissioned by MiramirO. Aryz creates huge murals in extremely diverse styles and often uses a colour palette which is not an obvious choice.
Asit 08 10 49AKA Bert Vuylsteke, who lives and works in Ghent. The king of art education, his graffiti work is actually a hobby which got out of hand.
A Squid called Sebastian 12 18 25 61His style shows recognisable influenc-es from the comic world and the work of figurative masters. He always seeks out a certain dynamism and tension in his work through his use of colours and composition.
Bastardilla (Colombia) 22 19Bastardilla is a Colombian artist who wants to draw attention to her work, not to herself. She plays with light and colour, ensuring that her work comes across best at night.
Billycolors (United Kingdom) 46 50Billy is Alex Godwin, an English artist with a passion for colour and a fo-cus on keeping happy and positive through her artwork. Her work aims to communicate happy visual ideas using shapes, colours and symbols.
Bisser 9 74Bisser has been drawing all of his life, it is his passion. His older brother was a great role model for him, together with The Simpsons and the Kid Paddle comic books.
Bue The Warrior 07 17 29 35 44 46 50 55 63 64 67 71 73 85Ghent local Dave De Rop grew up in a family of cartoonists. He created his own visual language and brings colour and positive energy to a street context.
Cee Pil 14 36His work is all about the contrast be-tween nature and culture, a bewildering view on nature and how men and na-ture live together. Instead of presenting beautiful pictures he wants to give his audience food for thought. His work has a certain surrealistic touch. He wants to show a calm and harmonious picture with an unpleasant connotation.
Chase 07 71 85Chase, who was born in Belgium, is an artist and designer. His work always conveys inspiring messages, things which he has learned in his own life and wishes to pass on to others.
De Papzakken 66Designs in black and white, very poetic and delicate.

SORRY, NOT SORRY is the label for street art in Ghent. In recent years, the City of Ghent has been actively developing a graffiti and street art policy. Cultuur Gent, the city’s service for culture, sup-ports individual artists, gives advices and sets up projects such as the SORRY, NOT SORRY Street Art Festival.
With these initiatives, Cultuur Gent wants to give artists the opportunity to use the streets as their playground and can-vas and bring street art to a broader audience. On the other hand, the team of Eco-Werkhuis removes illegal graffiti, tags and stickers in the streets of Ghent, and they do this free of charge.
This street art map provides an overview of most of the legal murals that can be ad-mired in Ghent. Go for a walk and discover the city as an open air studio and exhibition space of this booming con-temporary art form.
