ABSTRACT

There are mainly three types of solar the box the panel and the parabolic type cooker

This solar cooker can boil water in 1 hour depending on the weather

This is the most simplistic, efficient and compact out of the three solar cookers

OBJECTIVES

We hope to further develop the solar cooker so that it can boil water faster than it already can

We hope that this solar cooker can help the poor eat cooked and healthy food

PROBLEM SOLVING

Can reduce air pollution because the solar cooker does not use any harmful gases to cook

Can help countries with a lot of people living on the streets

Can save the country’s savings for other purposes

SCIENTIFIC THEORY-HEAT ABSORPTION

The sunlight is reflected into the box and is absorbed by the 500 ml container

The aluminum foil also can reflect the sunlight into the solar cooker

HOW THE SOLAR COOKER IS MADE

The solar cooker is made with aluminum foil, poly foam, cardboard

The aluminum foil was wrapped around the poly foam and the cardboard was glued to the back of the poly foam and assembled together into a cube form.

There is also a hole on top of the solar cooker to place the magnifying glass

PURPOSE OF MATERIALS

The aluminum foil can absorb heat into the solar cooker

The poly foam is used support the solar cooker

The gravels can absorb carbon dioxide to make the solar cooker hotter.

The magnifying is to focus all the sunlight to the 500 ml container.

EXPLANATION OF COLOUR SELECTION

The use of the black colour is to absorb the heat from the sun more efficiently

The silver colour can reflect the light and heat from the sun into the solar cooker

CONCLUSION

Solar cooker can help us reduce the air pollution

Solar cooker is eco-friendly and very efficient

The materials used are cheap and easy to obtain

Can be used for survival kits

Can help the poor on the streets
