SUB: TENDER FOR ANNUAL CONTRACT FOR RUBBER LlNI~GJOBS.

Dear Sir,

Sealed offers are invited from reputed parties to enter into annual contract forcarrying out RUBBER LINING jobs at our Works at Naya Nangal, Distt. Ropar(Punjab) as per details below:

1. Scope of work:- Rubber lining jobs as required from time to time either at ourworks or at your works as per the requirement. The details of items for whichrates are to be quoted are as per annexure -I enclosed herewith.

2. Rates:- Kindly quote rates in annexure-I enclosed herewith. The rates willremain firm during the period of contract.

3. Last Date of Submission of offers:- Last date of submission of offers is02.09.2017.

4. Earnest Money: - Earnest money of Rs. 10000.00 by way of demand draftfavouring Punjab Alkalies & Chemicals Limited is to be enclosed with tender ina separate envelops marked Earnest Money.

5. Security deposit:- The successful contractor will have to deposit Security of Rs.25000.00. Security will be released after satisfactory completion of the contract.

6. All materials required for the job i.e. Rubbers of various size and quality andany other material required for the same including tools & tackles for carryingout the above jobs will be arranged by you. However, in emergency materialavailable in our Stores may be issued on chargeable basis as per Companyrules.

7. Payment Terms: Within 30 days from the date of bills. Bills are required to besubmitted to Mechanical Department for verification.

8. GST: GST as applicable will be paid extra. Kindly confirm HSN/ASC code andrate of GST in your offer.

9. Income Tax: Income Tax shall be deducted at source from your bills as perrules.

10.Work Contract Tax or any other tax as applicable from time to time will bededucted if applicable and shall be borne by you

12. Statutory Laws: You shall abide by and observe all the statutory requirementsof local and Central Govt. for employing contract workers while working at ourSite specially minimum wages, Provident Fund, ESI, Workman Compensationand shall further ensure that safety and security regulations of our Companyare strictly observed by all of your employees and contract workers working foryou at our Site. We however, reserve the right of asking any of your workers orstaff to leave our premises if he/she by is found violating any of our safety anysecurity regulations within our premises.

13.Arbitration Clause: In all cases of dispute or disagreement between theparties hereto as to any matter arising out of or relating to this Work Orderwhether such dispute or disagreement shall arise during the continuance of thisWork Order regarding interpretation of this Work Order or any clause orclauses thereof or upon or after the termination hereof and provided nounderstanding between the parties can be reached for the settlement of thedifference such dispute or difference shall be referred to the sole arbitration ofthe Managing Director of Punjab Alkalies & Chemicals Limited or any otherofficer appointed by him on his behalf, in accordance with the provisions ofArbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 or any Statutory modifications orsubstitute thereof and all the provisions of that Act, so far as are applicable orof any of them for the time being in force shall apply to every referencehereunder. The award given by such Arbitrator shall be final, conclusive andbinding upon the parties to this Work Order. The Arbitrator may from time totime, with the consent of parties, enlarge the time for making or publishing theaward. The arbitration proceedings shall be held at Chandigarh.

Notwithstanding any pending reference to arbitration both parties shall precedewith the execution of their commitments, under the Work Order until thearbitration award is known unless the question of such continuance is a subjectmatter of such proceedings.

14. Law and Its Jurisdiction: The contract shall be governed by the laws of Govt. ofIndia in force from time to time and shall be deemed to have been concluded inthe Union Territory of Chandigarh. All suits and proceedings shall be subject tojurisdiction of the courts at Chandigarh only.

15. The contractor will have to abide by the Govt labour laws as applicable fromtime to time.

We are issuing this Work Order in duplicate. Kindly return one copy duly signed andstamped as a token of your acceptance.
