Our FIS pioneered the screen based services providing real-time stock and derivatives market quotes utilising state-of-the-art software ensuring speed & efficiency, safety and market integrity. Financial TV Systems (FTV) for TV News reporting

Financial TV Systems (FTV) is a computer simulation of ticker tapes used by broadcasters or web based clientele that displayed as a crawl on the lower part of the television screen. Our FTV tickers show security and index symbols in the manner of the ticker tapes that received information by direct lease line connectivity from online servers.

The Lab mimic a BURSA Malaysia trading firm. It will be equipped with glass walls, real-time tickers and 40 FIS terminals. These analytical terminals provide accurate, real-time financial data and are heavily utilized in most professional financial firms. Students will be able to run simulations with actual data and observe how their decisions could actually impact the market.

The goal is to reduce the gap between what is taught in the classroom and what actually happens in a professional environment. Our Investment Lab will help us achieve this goal by allowing students to work real-world scenarios with timely and accurate market data. The PlantERS program is based on easy-to-use menus and command options. Extensive use is made of buttons and drop-down menus. In-depth computer knowledge is not necessary to use the software.

PlantERS will convert every single information in the company to digital information which users can access anytime, anywhere. Multi-level access will be a key feature to control and identify users in order to make sure data are protected from intruders.

Content/ Internet Monitoring Systems (IMS)

The proposed BESSAR’s Internet monitoring system would be able to cater the various requirements of the ORGANIZATIONS related to content monitoring over internet.

BESSAR’s IMS is to provide an automated platform to the monitoring team to locate suspicious URLs that seem to be derogatory to national policies and allow probing of such URLs and internet addresses to locate them geographically.

The system will provide vital information useful for blacklisting derogatory URLs at the ISP level which in turn will aid the government to take corrective measures to counter-act on behalf of the information available on the internet.

For effective monitoring of the Internet, the IMS employs Web crawler engine to search, track and report malicious content over the internet. IMS will be a unified portal for the ORGANISATIONS to track and search the complete content on the internet.
