Reflection: Hunger is one of the world’s greatest problems, it happens almost in every part of the world, and I think the Philippines is one of the country with many informal settlers. The docufilm that I watched made me realize how lucky i am to be born with a family that can sustain my daily needs. It makes me realize that my family gives me everything that I need, and sometimes, something that i want. The docufilm also makes me wonder what our government is doing to help those less fortunate people. I just hope that they can put an end to hunger and poverty. It makes me wonder who in the government is true to their service and who are not. 1. What are the national issues present in the docufilm? -National issues present in the docufilm is hunger, and the lack of discipline on the part of the parents, because if you can’t afford much you should have considered thinking about the consequences of having a big family. 2. How did you feel after watching the docufilm? Why? -I felt very blessed because I didn’t experience what other less fortunate kids experienced. I also felt thankful to my parents for raising me this way and giving me all the necessities i needed to live. 3. What valuable insights can you get from the docufilm? - I realized how lucky I am to be dressed properly, to eat properly, and to live properly. I realized how lucky I am to never have experienced such hunger and problems of life.

Hunger is one of the world’s greatest problems, it happens almost in every part of the world, and I think the Philippines is one of the country with many informal settlers.

4. If you are given the opportunity to create possible solutions or projects to help our country, what can you suggest to help alleviate the national issue/s present in the chosen docufilm?

- One possible solution i can think of, is to properly educate future parents of family planning and deciding their future, by this, they can decide the consequences for their actions and estimate the number of family members they can sustain feeding. I also think the government should have projects to help the less fortunate people to help them get back on their feet and somehow change their state in life.
