RECENT  PROJECTS    University  of  Washington  Resilience  Lab  Resilience/Compassion  Initiative  Seed  Grant.  University  of  Washington,  Seattle,  Washington,  2018-­‐2019.  Co-­‐recipient  (with  Dr.  Alice  Pedersen,  PI  and  Dr.  Lauren  Lichty,  UW  Bothell  School  of  Interdisciplinary  Arts  &  Sciences).  Self  Care  is  Revolutionary:  A  Retreat  for  These  Troubled  Times.    

•   In  partnership  with  Association  for  Contemplative  Mind  in  Higher  Education  (ACHME)  and  UW  Bothell  Human  Resources,  we  are  developing  a  campus  wide  retreat  on  cultivating  self-­‐care  and  compassion  at  UW  Bothell  in  April,  2019  facilitated  by  Dr.  Kamilah  F.  Majied,  PhD,  Associate  Professor,  School  of  Social  Work,  Howard  University  with  an  eye  towards  institutional  capacity  building  entitled  Fierce  Compassion:  Contemplative  Practices  for  Social  &  Environmental  Justice

•   Conducted  a  Foucauldian  genealogy  of  visual  research  methods  in  social  work  research  featuring  an  analysis  of  the  1907-­‐1908  Pittsburgh  Survey  employing  archival  data  from  the  Paul  U.  Kellogg  and  Survey  Associates  papers  at  the  Social  Welfare  History  Archives,  University  of  Minnesota

•   Developed  strategies  for  integrating  screening  second  trimester,  third  trimester,  and  post-­‐partum  women  for  depression  and  anxiety  in  the  clinical  context    

•   Worked  closely  with  social  workers  to  report  on  positive  screens
