ADMINISTRATIONFounding Executive Director, Inland Commerce and Security Institute (ILCSI), California State University San Bernardino and State of California. The founding executive co-director of this new institute which works with various organizations, military, governments (international & national) and commercial enterprises on the movement and security of goods on a global bases.

Executive co-Director, Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship (IECE), California State University San Bernardino. Responsible for working with entrepreneurs from idea stage to IPO in the area of Electronic Commerce. This center was set up under a grant from the Kaufman Foundation. IECE has a three fold mission: Internships for students; Entrepreneurship in service area; and grant projects. Had served as an Associate Director for the electronic Commerce area when first founded. The center has administered over ten million dollars in grants since it inception from the federal agencies such as DOD, DOT, SBA, FDA USDA, Army and others like Edison, Press Enterprise, Business Press many others.

Founding President & C.E.O., NAFTeK National, Inc., a marketing firm which aided health oriented organizations with marketing research, U.S. copyright assurance, advertising, product literature development, idea development, videos, web development and seminar presentations. Was the founding president, 1998-1999.

Vice President, 7-W Worldwide Health Corporation, a FDA approved as well as an ISO 9000 and GMP compliant manufacturing facility for herbal health food supplements. Responsible for overseeing the importation of raw products from various nations, manufacturing of products and maintaining standards, the exportation of products to the nations of Taiwan, Mexico and the European Union as well as distribution in the United States, 1997.

Founding Chair, Department of Information & Decision Sciences, College of Business and Public Administration, California State University San Bernardino. Founding Chairperson for this department and had responsibility for 14 faculty plus 20 part-timers, tenure-promotion-retention evaluations, assessment, budgeting, scheduling, AACSB accreditation, recruitment, program development, obtaining new computer systems, fund raising, strategic planning, curriculum and evaluation for graduate and undergraduate matters. Worked with the Claremont Graduate University’s School of Information Sciences to establish an articulated “joint” Ph.D. program

which allows IDS students to attend there (if accepted) and for the faculty to teach there and be on doctoral committees. The department has a $600,000 remainder trust of endowment funds for a perpetuity scholarship program. The Department has received National Science Foundation (NSF) grants as well as Oracle and Microsoft grants for around $3,000,000. The department is co-sponsor of the Institute of Applied Supercomputing which has risen over $3,000,000 in donated equipment. The department had the distinction of raising the most funds of any department on campus for the past five years. The department is also the home of the Journal of International Technology and Information Management (JITIM). 1987 to Present

Director, Information Management Programs, School of Business and Public Administration, California State University San Bernardino. Developed and directed the Information Management programs for the graduate and undergraduate degrees (B.A., B.S. & M.B.A). Twenty new classes were written and approved. Generated $100,000 for an IBM PC classroom and lab. Responsible for faculty recruitment, scheduling of classes, assignments and supervision of five faculty for the area, 1983 - 1987.

Boards of Directors, Tech Board-Coachella Valley Economic Development Institute, Institute for Applied Supercomputing, NAFTeK National, Foundation for Cal State University San Bernardino, American Red Cross-San Bernardino Chapter, Micronetics, Inc., Hearthstone Institute and The Executive Records Organization, Inc., Visiting Nurse Association of Inland Empire, Inland Counties Health Systems Agency and American Red Cross of Inland Empire (Chair). Responsible for developing policy and implementing strategic plans. Member of these boards of directors from 1983 to 2010.

Advisory Boards: WordPerfect Corporation, Stonebridge Institute and Expertelligent . Word Perfect Corporation was around a one and a half billion dollar corporation in software development, met twice a year, 1993-1994. Stonebridge Institute was a privately held corporation servicing the Fortune 1000 companies with "Life Style Planning.", 1983-1986. Expertelligent was a publicly held corporation that developed software for the Mac computer. Advisory board member 1982 to 1994.

Director, Whittier College Management Conference Center. Developed and marketed business seminars for revenue generation for the business school. This was an additional contract to the faculty appointment, 1981-1983.

Director, Whittier College Small Business Administration Institute. Whittier College in conjunction with the U. S. Small Business Administration was given this assignment to direct the analysis of small business organizations that were in financial trouble and made recommendations on strategic solution implementation, 1982-1983.

Corporate Treasurer, O.U. Medical Associates, Inc., Athens, Ohio, 1978. Was the founding treasurer for this corporation. Was accountable for all finances and was a member of the board of directors. Responsible for the CPAs and staff daily operations and budgetary considerations, 1978.

Director, Information Systems and Planning/Assistant to the Dean , Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Assisted the chief medical, academic and administrative officer of the college with an administrative staff of 90 people. Was given the assignment of Director of Information Systems and Planning. Coordinated all computerization and strategic planning for the college, managed people and money, 1977-1979.

Awarded NSF grant ($42,000) for Minority Planning Grant for Information Science, 1996-1997. Awards from the Cal State University for Meritorious Performance (Cash award for three years until award was stopped) from the School of Business and Public Administration for service, research and teaching. Received a Golden Apple Teaching Award from the MBA/MD teaching program. Developed cash awards for stu-dents and faculty from local businesses.
