We can give Trump & the Republicans a taste of REAL PEOPLE POWER if EVERY UNION stands with the affected Air TrafficControllers, AFL, CIO, UAW, electricians, carpenters, plumbers, clerks, taxis, etc declares a strike the instant Trump declares a shutdown>That means NO FLIGHTS, anything currently in the air will be brought down as safely as possible, no Rail, NO transportation of any kind,Walmart is out of groceries in three days, out of stock in seven days, closed! The merge of these two corporations, with disparate network technologies, would not serve the public interest. The majority of their handsetsare incompatible with the opposing carrier. This means no improvement in wireless service and only results in consolidation of power. Both ofthese companies have traditionally served people with less disposable income to devote to wireless service, and have provided some of themost meaningful competition in the industry. The cellular markets are already stifled with only four major carriers, besides their ownstatements we can only expect harm to come to consumers if this is allowed—Daniel V Vanborkulo, East Quogue, NY

I don't agree that such a merger would be disastrous necessarily for consumers concerning cell phone services... I am concerning with suchmergers creating MEDIA MONOPOLIES, which harm consumers and outside content producers and the media market as a whole system. Ido not see how such mergers are beneficial to consumers - only to the corporations mergering - what happened to anti-trust where megacorporations were told to de-merge for the benefit of our economy and consumers. What is the point of allowing such mergers, if thesecorporations become too big for our good? I am concerned that mega corporations can have too much influence on consumer access bylessening competative pricing. The real danger is in INTERNET SPEED and CONTENT ACCESS, where costs to consumers become higherand the affluent gain more speed and access than the masses of consumers AND in barring DISTRIBUTION to CONTENT PRODUCERSINDEPENDENT FROM THE CELL PROVIDER AS DISTRIBUTOR/CONTENT PRODUCER. I am concerned all providers are goingthe AMAZON and NETFLIX route - two MAJOR DISTRIBUTORS THAT ARE NOW MORE INTERESTED IN PRODUCING THEIROWN ORIGINAL CONTENT than DISTRIBUTING OUTSIDE PRODUCED ORIGINAL CONTENT. What happened to the rules thatstop distributors from unfair practices where the Distributor favors its own produced content over all others - such as Movies Theaters notmaking their own movies to distribute while refusing to distribute competing movies? DISTRIBUTORS are becoming CONTENTCREATORS FAVORING THEIR OWN CONTENT OVER ALL OTHER’S CONTENT. Amazon already UNFAIRLY favorS it's ownoriginal content over that of independent content creators and even outside studio created content. Amazon FAVORS ITS OWN CONTENTbecause Amazon allows Amazon to TEST THEIR CONTENT by offering Amazon customer's the ability to VIEW AMAZON SERIESPILOTS (1 episode posted before they have created whole season) while AMAZON BARRS OUTSIDERS FROM POSTING SERIESPILOTS TO TEST POPULAR WITH AMAZON’S VIEWERS. Studio and Indie CONTENT CREATORS who post content on AMAZONVIDEO DIRECT are BARRED FROM POSTING SERIES PILOTS FOR TESTING POPULARITY WITH AMAZON VIEWERS, byREQUIRING OUTSIDER CONTENT CREATORS TO POST ONLY- EITHER a STANDALONE TITLE (not part of any episodiccollection) or post an EPISODIC TITLE (multiple episodes that comprise a season). This is unfair - it is the DISTRIBUTOR/CONTENTPRODUCER giving itself an advantage over all other content producers. This is the issue with mergers for NON-DISTRIBUTORCONTENT CREATORS (Film and TV studios, independent production companies and independent content producers). This practice harmsconsumers by limiting consumer’s access to new content and harms content creators by barring access to test markets. By CONTROLLINGACCESS TO CONSUMER MARKETS, these CONTENT DISTRIBUTORS can also control WHO SEES WHAT - WHO CAN ACCESSWHAT and WHO CAN ACCESS THE CONTENT MARKET - because these mega internet/content producers/distributors want to controlthe largest market shares so they can boost profits and the expenses of consumer choice and outsider content production. ALLOWINGDISTRIBUTORS TO CONTROL CONTENT is UN-AMERICAN, NON-COMPETITIVE AND IS MOVING MONOPOLIES. Amonopoly is not a market. YOU CAN STOP THAT TERRIBLE TREND. YOU CAN SAY “NO” TO MEDIA MONOPOLIES.—Anonymous content creator for fear of retaliation, Washington, DC

I'm a current T-Mobile customer paying $57/month. I've had this plan for years and try to maintain it to avoid more expensive newer plans.Although I earn more than poverty wages, it's not much more than poverty wages, and I am keenly concerned about there not being ANYoptions as affordable or more affordable than my plan is now. I believe it is unconscionable to corner low income people to pay over $70, $80,or $100/month for phone service. Phone service is a necessity in our society and we should not be charged artificially inflated rates, jeopardizeother living costs, so senior executives can purchase luxury items. You are the regulatory body that can help maintain some semblance ofethics in this capitalist system. I had to switch to Sprint recently because of their Black Friday deals, and lower priced plans. I don’t want to lose this. I was paying too mucha month with AT&T. At first I thought a merger with T-Mobile could mean a new phone for Sprint customers. But now I realize Sprint is goodnow. Mergers that price people out of plans are not the answer. The pay as you go players seem to have great phone deals, but they make mevery nervous. Quality, customer service, and the probability a customer ends up paying more. This merger leaves very little competition in the low-cost end of the wireless market. Sprint and T-Mobile wish simply to consolidate theirpowers to charge whatever the market will bear, casting aside those people who can only afford the low-cost options.
