> About the ClinicByars Family QuikCare is a health and wellness clinic exclusively for the employees of the C.A. Jones Management Group. As a benefit of your employment you can take advantage of our services at no cost to you regardless of insurance coverage. (Lab fees may not apply, depending on circumstance). While we do not currently see dependents of employees, we have plans to do so in the future, adding an additional convenience for you and yours!

At Byars Family QuikCare we realize that a healthcare visit can be a time consuming adventure. This can be discouraging when you feel unwell, but have responsibilities to fulfill. Our mission is to provide the highest qual-ity care with the least disruption to your busy day. Because we recognize the value of everyone’s time, we pledge short waits and thorough, efficient, problem-focused care that will have you feeling better and on your way in no time! Just give us a call to let us know what works best for you and we will reserve that time and attention just for you! You can also call to tell us you are on your way and we will accommodate your needs as quickly as possible.

Please keep in mind that visits for preventative care will take longer than visits for acute illnesses and injuries. But rest assured, your time will be spent working directly with The Nurse Practitioner to insure a comprehen-sive exam and an individualized plan of care.

Byars Family QuikCare has implemented the latest technology to ensure quality care and convenience. Our electronic medical record is among the newest and most innovative in the industry. Because it provides lighten-ing speed real time IT support and utilizes the latest in iPad technology, it allows us to spend more face to face time with you. With this system you can view portions of your medical record, along with the most current patient education materials and communicate with us online should you have questions. With this system we can send appoint-ment reminders to your personal computer or mobile device and answer any questions you may have. In addition, you may elect to access your medication list, diagnostic history, allergies, immuniza-tions, and appointments ( past and upcoming) from the privacy of your own home with the click of a button!

Kim Byars, APRN

Kim is a Nationally Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. A native of Graves County, she was awarded both her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and her Masters in Nursing from Murray State University. Kim’s extensive nursing career spans over 30 years. She has experience in ER, Critical Care, Out-patient Services, and allergy and asthma management. For the past 13 years she has worked in our community caring for all age groups in the capacity of an Advanced Practice Nurse. She has also studied at the prestigious Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing, Loyola University, Chicago, and was accepted into their Doctorate of Nursing Practice program last Spring. Kim was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nurses in 1982. She is a member of The American As-sociation of Occupational Health Nurses, Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Midwives and Nurse Practitioners, Kentucky Nurses Association, and The American Nurses Association. She is credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and has been granted DEA privileges since 2006. In January 2012, Kim became a consultant for the C.A. Jones Management Group to design and implement an employee health care clinic to benefit all company personnel whether full-time, part-time or temporary. Kim is married to Bud Byars, Chief Operating Officer of the C.A. Jones Management Group, and both Kim and Bud share a strong commitment to the community. The couple resides in Murray with their Skye Terrier, Murphy, King Charles Spaniel, Charlie, and Yorkshire Terrier, Fiona. They have one son, Chris, and are the proud grandparents of one-year-old Lincoln Riley Byars. In her spare time Kim enjoys traveling, biking, oil painting and reading.

Jerri Elliott, LPN

Jerri is a Licensed Practical Nurse with 14 years of experience. She is a graduate of West Kentucky Technical College and has worked in Long Term Care, Family Practice, Internal Medicine and Occupational Health. She has been a Certified Drug Screen Collector and Breath Alcohol Technician since 2008. In addition, she is a certified CPR, First Aid and Blood Borne Pathogen instructor. A native of Murray, Jerri is familiar with the needs of the community and is committed to providing the highest standards of nursing for her patients. She and Kim have worked together as a team for several years, enhancing the quality of the healthcare they are able to provide. Jerri has three sons, Mason, Reede, and Hudson and is the doting grandmother of Cameryon, age 4, Addyson, age 3, and Julianna, age 2. Jerri enjoys travel and motorcycles, and is an accomplished rescue diver. She is currently working toward certification as a Divemaster.
