Abstract (1896)
Throughout the history of Digital Mapping Services we have created, organized and managed leasehold land information systems for Oil and Gas companies. This process starts with paper leases and base data, and is transformed into a fully functioning and updatable GIS/LIS. The integration of survey and GIS expertise is essential for the creation of these information systems and ensures that errors are minimized. When utilized, the Land Information System effectively aids oil and gas companies in their decision making process.
