Acting

I signed up for Theatre arts my freshman year for an easy art credit. I didn’t plan to make anything of it, but for the second semesters final exam, Mr. McBay made us get on stage and perform for what became known as, “Scenefest.” I had lots of fun being in the spotlight and one of the sophomore students recommended that I audition for a show sometime.

I got the role of Candy in Of Mice and Men, and the role of Jack in Into the Woods. It was then that I decided, “This is what I want to do.”
