Interview- ask each individual person how and why they joined group.

Use closed-ended questions. Example questions: Do you share

common interests with your social group? Did you join because of peer pressure

issues?

Field Research

Participant observation- become a member of the different kinds of social groups.

Shows further understanding and obtain more research.

The research of social groups cannot be done within a laboratory setting.

Secondary Analysis

Precollecting data- collect data from other sources for more information.

Use previous information to corporate with your own.

You could use other sources on how social groups interact with one another and come to be.
