The target audience that we chose for our produce was from the age range of 15-24 years old and more male than female so when we had to find feedback from the audience these were the type of people that we was looking for as well as they have to be British or live in the England so they could understand the cultural aspect of the film and so that they wont get confused on how the characters act.

Our class mate were in the correct category as they fit the target audience that we was looking for so we showed them the trailer and got their feedback as well as putting it on YouTube and sharing it on Facebook to get more feedback from a large range of people.

We kept it easy for our class to be able to give us feedback on our trailer. We showed them the trailer and then gave them a list of questions to answer so that it was easy for them to give use feedback and also so that we can get feedback quick and easy with out any complications.

This is the list of questions that we gave to class to answer:

•Is the genre clear?•Are you able to follow the narrative?•Are the characters typical of the genre?•What comments would you make on the sound track?•Please provide a positive and a negative overall about our trailer?

They said that the genre of the trailer was obvious and they knew that it was ‘social Realism’

They said that they liked the use of the second song during the trailer as it felt like it fitted better.

Some of them liked that the editing as they gave some good comments on how it was put together.

Some of them liked the build up at the end of the trailer to build tension and raises the pace.

Some of them liked the use of slang and how the characters spoke as it was urban.

They also understood the characters and how they were meant to be protrude due to the genre of the film.

This is good as the audience gave us good feedback and that they are within our age group so this means that it appeals to the age group and age range of what we was aiming for.

Some of them did ‘t really understand the narrative as it was a bit muddled up.

Some of them said that the voice over was a bit quite and hard to understand.

Some of them said that we repeated the scene during the trailer and felt that it didn’t work.

One of them said that the titles could have been done better by using different fonts or placement.

We didn’t get much bad feedback so this means that they must have liked the trailer apart from little comments that they made on what we could improve and what they felt about the trailer.

The feedback that I got from placing the trailer on Facebook was that most people liked:

•The Editing and how the shot and footage had been put together.•The use of the sound track was good and they liked the second song.•The characters are used well and show a typical British culture as it contents gangs.•It also uses British slang and stereotypical language that is used in todays modern life.

They liked the way that the trailer was put together and the content that it has within it, as well as the British feel about it that gives it the social realism look.

The feedback that I got from placing the trailer on Facebook was that most people disliked:

•The narrative as they couldn’t understand the whole narrative.•The sound of the voice over at it feels like its too quite.•The titles could have been more unique as it looks too main stream for a social realism trailer. •There could have been more of a build up towards the end as it should have started sooner.

There was some mixed feedback because some of the audience was outside of the age range that we was targeting so they couldn’t understand the narrative or what type of film it was meant to be so that we could try and make it clearer in the future so that others outside of the target audience could kind of understand what's happening and what the trailer or film is about.

My parents are 59 and 55 years old and don’t understand how social life is lived with teenagers and the youth nowadays. Positives:

“The editing was put together well and you used a typical type of music to show what genre and timeline that the trailer has been based on.”

“The scene have the look of violence within the culture that is part of teenage life and has been like that for years”

“The characters are of the same age as they are meant to be playing so that its realistic and doesn’t make the trailer look fake.”

Negatives:

“Couldn’t really understand the narrative as we haven’t got an idea of what happens to teenagers life in societies that have gang violence”

“The areas of filming where similar and shown a lot so didn’t really feel like the trailer was filmed in that many areas”

“Sometimes it was hard to hear and understand what they was saying”

The reason that we needed feedback is so that we then know how we could improve the product and how we can then do better so that the product can attract the audience that we are looking for and to make sure that more people want to watch what we have created.

Feedback is good because it means that we can then think about what people of this target audience really want so we could make it fit their needs for when we create some thing that is similar to the product that we had just created.

Is good to get good and bad feedback so that you can see what people like and what they don’t like so that we can then reflex on what we have done and change anything that needs changing.
