DRIVING BAN Women in Saudi Arabia have been
banned from driving for multiple reasons Men believe allowing such freedoms
could encourage premarital sex The woman fear harsh punishment if
they do drive Hundreds of women have been fined,
arrested, and even whipped for driving This driving ban takes away their
leadership and voice

RELIGIOUS REASONING Men’s perspective on women and their
rights are taken mostly from the Qur’an The Quran states that every man is
equivalent to two women The Quran also encourages polygamy,
