• Feasts and Banquets were held during important times of the year.

• Usually the Wealthy held these celebrations.

• The length of the celebrations varied upon the importance of the event.

• There was a special seating arrangement at the tables.

• There were many table manners that were supposed to be known before you went to the feast.

• Feasts were started with the signal from loud trumpets and fanfare.

• Meal began with light food. (Appetizer)

• Next was meat.

• It ended with sweets and wine.

• Also during a feast gifts were given and entertainment were

held.
