Floor Tile for Monument Building

This is the tile that I am using for my monument building. The price of the StonePeak Ceramics Inc. 12" x 12" Aspen Sunset Glazed Porcelain Floor Tile is $2.38. The total cost of tiling the floor is $1,313.15, since I have a area of 13,248 sq. ft. and there are a total of 552 tiles in all.

Interior Paint of Monument

The interior is 2,236 sq. ft. I used Valspar 5 gl. Semi-Gloss finish ($141.65) with a 1 gl. Satin Finish ($30.85). The type of paint that I am using is called Cream Delight. The total cost of the interior is $172.50.

Exterior Paint of Monument

The exterior is 2,236 sq. ft. I used Valspar Duramax multi-color 5 gl. ($191.70) with a Valspar Duramax 1 gl. ($39.98). The type of paint that I used is called Relaxed Navy. The total cost of the exterior is $231.68.

This is How I Got My Cost and Stuff

These show how I got my paint cost. First I got the perimeter of the sides and added those together and multiplied it by two and then I added the surface area of this wall and this wall. Then I divided the surface area by the area that the 5 gallons cover. Then I got the quotient and saw that I needed one 5 gallon and one 1 gallon and added the cost of both together and got the answer.

This is My Statue

This statue represents one of Eagle Islands heroes, Eagle Thompson, who saved his home town of Gibson, Alvania when they were being attacked Eagle lead his troops straight into battle and took the 200 German men with only 50 casualties.

My monument is in the shape of a octagon with 16 vertices, 10 faces, and 8 edges.

The perimeter of my island is 1,009.5 miles. The area of my island is 164,685.9 square miles.
