Swimming I choose to do the

science of swimming because I like to swim.

And also I like water, but I do not know how to swim very well.

Also to do sport it’s good for the development of our body

Potential EnergyPotential energy is

when we stored energy.

An example when the swimmer is waiting for the depart to jump in the water.

The swimmer is not moving but is getting ready to move.

Kinetic EnergyKinetic energy is

energy in motion. There are many examples of kinetic energy in swimming.

When the swimmer first jump in the water, move her arms and foot in the water, it’s a demonstration a kinetic Energy.

Digestive SystemThe digestive system

mechanically and chemically digests food to give our body energy.

The swimmer need to have a good digestive to help them to get the energy they need to play.

Respiratory SystemThe respiratory

systems uses energy to clean incoming air gets oxygen into our body and remove carbon dioxide.

The body uses oxygen to release the energy stored in food and gets rid of carbon dioxide that can be dangerous.

It’s true that in the water it’s hard to breath

But the swimmer need to breathe when they get out of the water.

Circulatory SystemThe circulatory

system needs to pump the blood through the body.

The circulatory system makes sure all of the athlete's cells are getting enough oxygen for the body

Excretory SystemThe excretory

system uses energy to release water.

Energy is needed to keep this working .

Swimmer need this energy to cool off their body.

Muscular SystemsThe muscular

systems uses energy to make body move.

Swimmers need strong muscles to move their legs to move their foot and arms to swim.

Electric EnergyElectric energy is the

flow of electrons around a circuit. A circuit transfers electric energy from a power source to a device that converts energy into another from of energy such as light, television, radio etch..

Electric energy has made it possible for millions of people to watch sport because of television or computer

Energy TransformationThe food got the

chemical energy and that gives your body chemical.

When we eat that food give us the force, to run or jump.

The energy transformation is necessary in the life of a sportive

Conserving Energy Conserving energy it’s

important for us and in the life of a athletes.

a: It’s helps the athletes to save their energy when they are tailor.

b: On an environmental level, conserving energy prevent against less pollution allows athletes to breathe in healthier air.

Newton’s 2nd Law of MotionNewton’s 2nd law of

motion says that the greater the force acting on a object, the greater the acceleration, or change in the object’s motion.

Example: when the swimmer is pushing is body to jump in the water, is pushing all of her force.

Page 14: By: Florette-Koulanda Class: 805. Swimming I choose to do the science of swimming because I like to swim. And also I like water, but I do not know how

Newton’s 3rd Law of MotionNewton’s 3rd law

of motion says that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Example: when the swimmer jump into the water and begin to swim, that’s the reaction.

MachinesMachines help

swimmers exercise to increase their muscular endurance.

Irons increases the capacity and the augmentation of the muscle.

ConclusionScience is related

to my sport because sport is important for our body.

Our body need energy to move to move.

Also if we want to play a game we need to have a good health.
