Affordable Education The tuition cost per semester is $2,470 (2014, LDS students). Over 70% of BYU–Hawaii students receive some type of financial assistance, including scholarships, as well as need-based Federal grants and loans. More than 1,500 student jobs are available at BYU–Hawaii and the neighboring Polynesian Cultural Center (#1 paid tourist attraction in Hawaii), allowing students to work part-time while earning a degree.
