Door knocking knuckles should be lined up. You shouldn’t choke the bat with your
hands, this causes a loss in range of motion
Grip
Feet shoulder width apart. Too wide is uncomfortable and you lose
rotation with your legs. Too narrow and your unbalanced and not
athletic. Arms should be close to body and in the
vicinity of your armpit.
Stance
Drive knob of the bat to the ball following the A to C path.
A long swing results in foul balls, weakly hit fly balls, and strikeouts.
A short and quick swing is ideal. Elbows should have slight bend to them
when making contact with baseball. Hips and legs should rotate with the torso
creating torque to propel the ball.
Swing and Contact
Hitting a baseball is 80% mental and 20% physical
If you start an at bat thinking your going to get out you might as well sit back in the dugout
A batter must learn pitch sequences, release points, and timing of the pitcher.
You only have milliseconds to react !!
