Claude Monet painted very quickly because he painted at different times of day. The thing Monet liked to draw reflects so it looks better. He went over the colours he used.

Where he travels

He travelled to different

places because he couldn’t just get a photograph and to look at it he had to go to the countries where the thing was. Where as in The Lily Pond he only had to go through his garden because the water lily pond is in his own garden(he lived in France).
