DO’s

Stay on the conservative side: Stay away from trendy clothes and stick with the basics.

Pick the colors of you clothes off of which colors flatter you the most.

Dress to your job level: If you are interviewing for high end position you do not want to dress casual.

Do iron your clothes.

Do empty pockets. Bulging keys and change is not appropriate.

If wearing open toe shoes, do pay attention to your toes. Unkempt toes show you don’t want to spend an extra couple minutes to tidy up.

Don’t let your clothes be distracting. Bright colors and too much jewelry can become a huge distraction. We want the interviewer to focus on you, not your clothing.

Don’t wear clothes that don’t fit you properly. Baggy and tight clothes are not appealing.
