A computer is an electronic device, that operates under the
control of instructions stored in its own memory. It can accept
data, process the data according to specified rules, produce
results, and store results for future use.

Parts of a Computer A monitor is an output device the is used
for electronic visual display. A keyboard is an input device that
contains key you press to enter data into the computer. A mouse is
an input device that is used as a pointing device. A system unit is
a box-like case that houses the processor, memory, and storage
devices.

that produces digital text or graphics into a document. A scanner
is an input device that captures images from photographic prints,
posters, magazine pages, and similar sources for computer editing
and display. A modem is a communications device that modulates an
analog carrier signal to encode digital information, and also
demodulates such a carrier signal to decode the transmitted
information. An external hard drive is a storage hard drives that
store your valuable data and add a considerable level of safety and
security.
