What is a Mountain? A mountain is something that’s part of the land,

but that rises above everything else. They are very rocky, and can join up with other mountains. However they are very rocky and difficult to grow things on. Also, the higher the mountain goes up, the colder it gets – this means different kinds of plants and animals might live at the top of a mountain than at the bottom, depending on just how high it is to make up a range.

All About Mount Everest:

Mount Everest is the tallest mountain in the world, it reaches to up to 8848m (29029ft.wow!)The mountain is located in the Himalayas mountain range on the border of Nepal and Tibet(China).Although Mt.Everest is the highest mountain on Earth above sea level, it's summit is only the 5th farthest from the Earth’s centre, because the bulges at the Equator mountains such as Mt.Chimborazo in Ecuador have summits that are farther away.Altitudes above 800m(26000ft.) are often referred as to the ‘Death Zone’, a height that humans struggle to survive at for more than a few days. :(
