ABOUT THE EVENT

WHO WE HAVE WORKED WITHIRN held its debut event in Cairo, the Egypt Oil & Gas 2015 Summit, which took place in February 2015 at the Four Seasons Nile Plaza hotel, hosting a unique platform of technical and business presentations about Egypt’s hydrocarbon sector, which gathered the interest of key international players who haven’t yet invested in the country, where they were introduced to most important Egyptian companies and current investors, as well as most of the Egyptian oil and gas industry.

The Egypt Oil & Gas 2015 Summit was also an excellent opportunity for IRN to meet key contacts in Egypt and provide a taste of the high calibre event that we wish to bring to Egypt. The inaugural Summit hosted a number of keynote presentations with senior level Speakers from NOCs and IOCs, including Abu Bakr Ibrahim, Chairman of Ganoub El Wadi Petroleum Holding Company (GANOPE), Mohamed Fouad, President of Egypt Oil & Gas, and Ahmed Hagras, Exploration Director of BP North Africa and more.

THE SUMMIT HIGHLIGHTED EGYPT’S PROLIFIC HYDROCARBON INDUSTRY WITH SEVERAL CASE STUDIES THAT PROMOTED

CURRENT ACTIVITIES TAKING PLACE ONSHORE AND OFFSHORE.

This year, IRN would like to build on the introductory event and host the Egypt Oil & Gas Business Meetings on 14th - 15th November 2016 in Cairo, featuring a faculty of high-level speakers and exhibitors presenting on key technical and business issues, and welcoming even more future investors who are interested in the country.
