Interview  with  Kurt  Berthelsen  and  Naja  Schødt  Jensen    

What  do  you  use  RISMAexecution  for?  

"To  far  more  than  expected.  We  use  RISMAexcution  to  get  focused  on  all  the  issues  that  are  important  to  be  successful  merger.  We  have  for  example  a  theme  called  harmonization,  where  each  department  has  some  tasks  to  be  solved.  A  common  digital  manual  is  another  example  of  a  task,  where  there  are  many  involved  with  very  different  tasks,  the  system  provides  the  necessary  structure  and  ensure  progress.  "  

What  effect  has  the  use  of  RISMAexecution  had?  

"It  provides  systematic  and  helps  to  structure  our  many  tasks  and  activities,  ensuring  that  we  don’t  miss  anything,  and  that  decisions  are  documented.  We  therefore  have  a  much  better  overview  and  a  finger  on  the  pulse,  making  our  meetings  more  effective  "    How  has  the  new  management  team  received  RISMA  execution?    

"Everyone  is  aware  of  the  challenges  the  merger  and  the  new  structure  brings.  We  are  now  located  at  14  geographically  distributed  sites,  that  has  to  be  operated  together.    What  is  needed  is  a  system  anyone  can  easily  use,  but  also  a  system  that  can  solve  many  different  tasks,  including  the  need  for  documentation  and  effective  communication  across  the  new  organization.  The  RISMA  solution  can  do  that  and  it  has  been  easy  to  get  the  management  team  started  to  use  the  system."  

Are  there  other  areas  you  are  focusing  on?    

"When  we  use  RISMAexecution  we  benefit  in  several  areas.  Knowledge  sharing  is  much  easier  as  information  is  updated,  and  made  available  to  others  immediately.  Hence  we  can  reduce  the  number  of  meetings,  giving  more  time  for  other  tasks.  It  also  become  easier  to  create  a  common  framework  and  understanding  of  the  new  and  much  larger  organization.  In  addition  there  is  the  set  assignments  from  the  municipality,  such  as  requirements  for  savings  or  reduction  of  absenteeism  by  1%.  Here  RISMAexecution  make  it  easier  to  succeed  while  making  the  process  transparent.  "  

How  will  you  use  RISMA  execution  going  forward?    

"For  more  of  the  same,  but  we  also  like  to  expand  the  number  of  users,  for  example,  use  it  for  communication  and  involvement  of  staff  committee.  We  will  also  use  it  to  scheduling  and  relevant  benchmarks.  "

Samstyrken  is  a  fusion  of  Handicap  Bo,  Beskæftigelse  and  Krogen  and  is  part  of  the  specialized  social  area  in  Varde.      Samstyrken  has  a  number  of  services  for  young  people  and  adults  with  learning  disability:      Residential  facilities,  relief  and  social,  and  educational  support  to  people  living  outside  residential  facilities,  recreational  relational  and  activity,  employment  and  Training  (STU),  especially  organized-­‐completed  upper  secondary  education  to  young  people  with  significant  disabilities  between  16-­‐25  years.    Structure  in  the  educational  work      Samstyrken  works  appreciatively  through  relational  pedagogy  and  KRAP  (Cognitive  Resource  Focused  and  Appreciative  Education).      The  focus  is  on  the  use  of  common  language,  conceptual  framework  and  structured  teaching  methods.  This  is  achieved  through  training  and  collaboration  on  systematic  pedagogy  (SIP).      SIP  is  an  educational  tool  to  schedule  set,  structure  and  motivate  learning.  This  is  done  by  giving  citizens  the  necessary  and  sufficient  /  minimum  help,  and  incorporate  personal  help  funding  that  supports  the  citizen's  ..independence.
