The MarketsInteraction team ensures that Nokia's diverse local markets are represented in the overall development of Ovi,and that the performance of Ovi in those different markets is optimised.
For this growing team we are looking for a
Business and Market Analyst (f/m)
Responsibilities
As the Business and Market Analyst, you will be responsible for three streams of data:
y Accurate tracking data that shows the real performance of the different Ovi propositions in differentmarkets.
y The creation of "heat maps" to prioritize the market rollout of new propositions or updates to differentmarkets.
y The aggregation and prioritization of local market requirements and feedback on existing services.
The key responsibilities include:
y Maintaining a database of detailed data on each of our local markets and regions, including informationon Nokia & Ovi performance, as well as basic local information (GDP, connectivity, etc).
y Working closely with various teams worldwide to continually source new data and improve the quality of the database.
y Analyzing data to reveal disparities between markets, growth opportunities or product issues.y Compelling written and verbal presentation of data and recommendations for senior executive
audiences.
Q ualifications
K ey Skills
y Numerate, preferably holding a degree with a significant quantitative component, Maths, Sciences,Psychology, etc.
y Analytical, able to work with large sets of complex data and provide practical, prioritized insights.y Visual communication, able to create high impact visualizations of data using Powerpoint and Excel.y Verbal & written communication, able to reduce complex concepts to simple verbal and written
communication.y Personable, able to create productive relationships with teams in various disciplines and time zones.
Q ualifications
y 2+ years of experience in quantitative/analytical field.y Experience of global or multi-regional businesses.y Excellent understanding of the B2C Internet & mobile services landscape (especially App Stores, maps,
messaging, developer communities).y Excellent Powerpoint and Excel skills.y Demonstrable interest in diverse cultures, either through business or personal experience.
