Black Into White BURIAL VAULT [email protected] German all around death metal band “Buried Vault” released their sophomore album “Incendium” on “Apostasy Records”, just after a year later their fulllength debut “Ekpyrosis Periodic Destruction ” was released under the same label. “Incendium” is designed as a concept album inspired by classic novel "Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury. Recorded at the “Soundlodge Studio” with producer Joerg Uken (“DewScented”, “Nightfall”, “God Dethroned”), it combines speedy pace brutality with moments of lightness and beauty that expertly crosses genres and styles. There are two sides in “Buried Vault's” sound that coexist together. The first is a fast style of thrashy death metal with a strong sense of melody. The second, and the part that has much appealed to me personally, is the dark emotional content that borders on black metal. “Incendium”embodies both of these sides perfectly balanced. Bringing it all together, “Buried Vault” have put out a good record that could excite and attract horde of metalheads with their progressive influences and the energy of their music.
