Additional Information, if necessary Total Security (current state contract #8001396) provides fire alarm monitoring services to the DES-WRBP at a negotiated cost of less than $2500/year for all 15 DES-WRBP facilities. The DES-WRBP does not require burglar alarm maintenance and inspection services at any location since DES-WRBP master electricians maintain this equipment. Depending upon the terms and transition costs associated with the proposed state contract that may require new equipment to be installed and programmed at each location, the DES-WRBP may seek a waiver under RSA 21-I:17-c to continue using this firm for fire alarm monitoring only. The current Setronics Corp. contract with the DES-WRBP provides fire alarm maintenance and inspection services for all DES-WRBP locations and includes provisions for procurement and installations of fire alarm devices by DES-WRBP master electricians. This contract also provides access to Simplex proprietary programing capabilities, if deemed necessary. The Setronics contract was approved by the G&C on 8/3/16 as item #49 and is effective through June 30, 2019. The DES-WRBP will seek a waiver under RSA 21-I:17-c to continue using the Setronics contract.
