    SCENARIO 1:

    This week a new girl started school, and shes inseveral of your classes. Shes very attractive, and

    many guys seem very interested and are giving her a

    lot of attention. Several girls who are friends ofyours have started rumors about her and are text-

    messaging crude comments about her to eachother. You get the message on your cell phone with

    directions to pass it on to others.

    SCENARIO 2:

    Student A approaches Student B in the hallway anddeliberately pushes him into the lockers. Student B

    seems surprised and tries to walk away, butStudent A again shoves Student B against the wall,

    not allowing him to leave. Several students observethis happening. Some cheer and chant,

    Fight! Fight! while others gatheraround to watch.

    Bystanders have the true power

    Take a stand (low, medium or high risk)

    There is strength in numbers

    Identify students who agree to take a stand with

    you during bullying incidences

    Reach out to isolated or targeted students
