S emarak Ramadhan FPA 2019 is a programme orga-

nized by Planters’ Executive, Faculty of Plantation

and Agrotechnology (FPA), Universiti Teknologi

MARA (UiTM) in conjunction with the holy month

of Ramadhan (2019/1440H). The programme was participated

by 950 participants which were among the FPA students and

staffs.

The main aim of the programme were bringing the stu-

dents and staffs closer to the Al-Quran, embrace the culture of

reading the holy book during the Ramadhan and strengthen the

ukuwah among the FPA.

The recitation of the Al-Quran in a group (Tadarus Al-

Quran) was held a week before the opening and closing cere-

mony of this programme. At the end of Tadarus, students and

staffs able to complete the 30 Al-Quran ‘juzuk’ within a week.

Besides the Tadarus Al-Quran, several activities were held such

as perform Asar and Maghrib prayer in jama’ah, and Iftar

(breaking of fast) at the Bengkel Ladang, UiTM Melaka Branch

Jasin Campus, Melaka.

was officiated by Dean of FPA, Associate Professor Dr. Asmah

Awal. Present were Deputy Dean of Student Affair, Ms. Nor-

diana Ibrahim, Head Centre of Studies (Diploma) Dr. Noraini

Mohd Noor, Head Centre of Studies (Bachelor Degree), Mad-

am Salwa Adam and Coordinator of Student Development and

Leadership, Madam Norazlina Abu Sari.
