Some religious orders are apostolic (active in the world), some monastic and some cloistered. The cloistered communities do not live and minister actively in the outside world. Their life and work of prayer is primarily contained within their monastery setting.

SPECIAL HOLY WEEK FIVE MINUTE PRAYER
This week, let us pray that God will make us courageous Christians and not take for granted our freedom to worship as we wish. Let us pray that many Catholics that no longer practice their Catholic faith may be drawn to our love for one another and come to rediscover the Catholic faith in which they were baptized. May we become the people God created us to be.
