Another year is coming to a close and

as we reflect on the past year and what

lies ahead for AMIfs, it is with gratification

and high expectations. Through all of our

efforts, your Association had a successful

year especially with the Annual Conference

and the Institute.

In the aftermath

of the Financial

Crisis in 2008

we’ve steadily in-

creased participa-

tion in both of our

key events. We are

already deep in the

planning process

for 2014. The An-

nual Conference

will take place

from March 19 – 21, 2014 in Las Vegas. I

hope you all put this on the calendar and

let others know as we will be focused on

C.A.P.I.T.A.L.

In order to make AMIfs’ website have a

more contemporary look and feel and tak-

ing advantage of today’s technologies, we

will be launching a new website in 2014! The

new website will be more interactive, allow-

ing for greater networking among members,

including message boards and content

groups. You should be excited about the

possibilities of the new site. Furthermore,

as part of the modernization efforts we are

also in the process of creating a new logo

and your Board is hard at

work on this.

Finally, we are in the pro-

cess of setting up webinars

and possibly a workshop or

two in the coming months.
