Disclosure of Financial relationships and resolution of Conflicts of interest
The AAP Policy on Disclosure of Financial Relationships and Resolution of Conflicts of Interest is designed to ensure quality, objective, balanced, and scientifically rigorous AAP CME activities. All individuals in a position to influence and/or control the content of AAP CME activities are required to disclose to the AAP and subsequently to learners that they either have no relevant financial relationships or any financial relationships with the manufacturer(s) of any commercial product(s) and/or provider(s) of commercial services discussed in CME activities. All potential conflicts of interest are identified and resolved prior to an individual’s confirmation of service at an AAP CME activity. Beyond disclosure of financial relationships, AAP CME faculty are required to disclose to the AAP and to learners when they plan to discuss or demonstrate pharmaceuticals and/or medical devices and/or medical or surgical procedures that involve “off-label” use of a device or pharmaceutical. The AAP is committed to providing learners with commercially unbiased CME activities.
The content of this CME activity does not necessarily reflect the view or policies of the AAP.
Faculty and Schedule Changes
Faculty and schedule information included in this catalogue is accurate as of December, 2011. Faculty and schedules are subject to change to accommodate emergent situations.

Seattle, “The Emerald City,” is one of the most livable cities in the world.
Surrounded by lakes, rivers, Puget Sound, and mountains, the area is a
recreation enthusiast’s dream. You can’t visit Seattle without checking out the
view from the world-famous Space Needle. A 41-second elevator ride takes you
up 520 feet to the observation deck. There you can enjoy a meal at SkyCity,
the restaurant at the top that revolves 360º while you dine. Seattle’s Pike
Place Market, established in 1907, is the granddaddy of farmers’ markets.
Today, it’s a major tourist attraction with 200 businesses operating year-round,
190 craftspeople, and 120 farmers’ booths, as well as street performers and
musicians. You’ll want to travel by ferry to some of the
Puget Sound’s most historic and scenic sites. Views
of the Olympic and Cascade Mountains, the Seattle
cityscape, and the green shorelines will draw you out
onto the deck to feel the salt breeze on your face.
Families can easily spend an entire day at the Seattle
Center, a 74-acre urban park. There are thrilling rides
for the whole family and excellent art and culture
experiences for children. For much more information
about the area, go to www.visitseattle.org.
