• At the end of these mini-workshops participants should be able to:
• Understand the range of available resources that might be useful for the success of their library association’s development proposal.
• Familiarise themselves with key topics covered by the BSLA training package.

• We are going to ask you to choose a stream. You will be in a different room for each stream.
Mini-workshops

• There will be a number of trainers in each room• They will each introduce a topic, and you will
have the opportunity to share ideas and examples which will be written up.
• It is a little bit like visiting posters at a conference – except you will write the posters
• You will need to work fast – you will have 5 or 10 minutes on each topic. When time is up, the next trainer will begin

• After 30 minutes, you will move to the next room
• After the next 30 minutes, you will visit the last room
• This afternoon, there will be two more streams on different topics
• Then to wrap up, you will have a chance to walk around and read everyone’s posters
