Job Site DeliverySheet lengths for job site delivery should not exceed thirty feet. Deliveries are made to the job site and placed within reason, depending on the accessibility of our vehicles and with concern for the customer’s property. TerraStar Building Products personnel can not direct material into a building or onto a roof. Hydro wires and overhead objects may present unloading problems.

Job site directions must be clearly stated at time of order. Faxed copies are preferred, giving the telephone number of the dealer and the job site fire number, concession and township.

Limits of LiabilityIf the product is found defective or does not conform to the terms of the order as accepted by the Seller, the Seller’s sole obligation to the Buyer will be to replace such products as proven defective. The buyer shall promptly notify the Seller of any claim in respect of the product, and such product shall be held for the inspection of the Seller, and shall not have been used or incorporated in any works.

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, in no event, shall the Seller’s liability exceed the invoice price of the defective products. The Seller shall not be liable for any costs related to labour, construction, delay in construction or any other matter whatsoever and the same shall be the basis of any claim. The Seller’s obligation to replace the product shall apply only if the defect is reported before use of, installation of, and/or erection of the material. Warranty available upon request, this warranty replaces any other warranty, expressed or implied, weather statutory or otherwise.

In no event shall the Seller be liable for Consequential Damages.

Important Storage and Handling Information:Proper care in storing and handling of all pre-painted and galvalume panels is essential. Panels not being immediately installed must be kept dry. Ideally, panels and trim should be stored in an indoor area. If indoor storage is not available, extreme caution should be taken in order to prevent moisture penetration of the stack or stacks by rain, snowfall or any condensation. Whether storing indoors or outdoors, the panels should be stored off the ground on wooden blocks, with one end slightly elevated. The banding around the panels should be cut. A loose canvas tarp or waterproof paper should be placed over the panels, but not tightly secured in order to allow proper airflow to occur. Plastic tarps should never be used. The plastic will only create and hold condensation.

Failure to comply with the above procedures voids all warranties. There is no implied warranty of merchantability of fitness for purpose.

Safety PrecautionsMetal Panels may have sharp edges. Protective clothing and gloves should be utilized. To prevent eye injury, safety glasses must be worn when drilling or cutting steel panels. Use extreme care when walking on the roof panels. Steel panels become slippery when wet. Do not work on the steel panels when wet or when weather conditions are not suitable for safe installation. Think safety first.

Trimming and Cutting Panels:The best method of cutting steel panels, either across the profile or with the profile it is recommended to use hand tinsnips or nibblers.

It is very important to cut panels one at a time with the finished side of the panel facing down on wooden blocks. Care should be taken to ensure that the hot metal particles and filings from the cutting procedure do not become embedded into the panel. It is imperative that the panels are brushed well after cutting so that all steel particles are removed. This procedure will reduce the possibility of rust marks or bleeding on the panel after it has been installed.

Note: Filings from the screw cuttings must also be cleaned off the panel after screws have been applied through the panel to avoid rust marks or bleeding on the panel.

Failure to comply with the above procedure voids any paint or finish warranty.

PROTECTION First, each panel is coated with Galvalume®, a patented aluminum-zinc alloy coating for extra protection. Panels are then bonderized and an epoxy primer is applied. Epoxy primer supplies flexibility and provides an excellent base for the final coat. Ceram-A-Sil®, a ceramic pigmented silicone polyester, supplies strength, hardness anddurability against the effects of sun, wind, rain, heat and cold. It is extremely resistant to mildew. No blistering, peeling and flaking either!

SERVICE Job lot quantities can be shipped directly from our factory to you. Each shipment, 1 sheet to 100, is paper wrapped in banded bundles for protection in transit and at the job site. Company owned and operated trucks deliver each shipment to ensure on time deliveries. Our custom cut lengths, to-the-inch up to 30 feet, reduce or eliminate end laps. You get a tighter, stronger, more attractive building.

DURABILITY Constructed of 29 gauge high tensile steel (to ASTM A792 Grade E, 80,000 minimum yield – 82,000 minimum tensile specifications), our ribbed panels are easy to install, sturdy, and weather tight. Resistance to dents, plus minimal expansion/contraction properties make this steel panel an excellent investment providing lastingprotection and greater durability that will enhance all types of structural designs.

In addition to its unique and attractive look, Snap-Lock Standing Seam Metal Roofing has hidden fasteners that help eliminate the chance of roof leaks. The Standing Seam panels have a tall 1.5 inch rib height and are available in 12 inch or 16 inch panel widths with 2 different profiles. Snap-Lock Standing Seam is also made out of a sturdy and durable 26 gauge metal and is available in all TerraStar Building Products colours.

Thermal Pane Slider

TerraStar Building Products offers two in stock sizes of the thermal pane sliders 46”x 36” and a 46”x 24” (custom sizes available through special order). Each window is built with a J-trim frame that allows the G-Rib profile to be installed with no cut edges visible. It is advised to use a drip trim on the top of the window to prevent any water infiltration.
