TYPES OF PERMIT
LIST OF REQUIREMENTS I –New Construction / Renovation Permit No. of Copies a. Contract of Lease / Authority to construct. 3 b. Locational Clearance Application duly signed and sealed by a 5 licensed architect/civil engineer and owner. c. Building Permit Application duly signed and sealed by a licensed 5 architect / civil engineer / building owner. d. Building plans conforming to Standard form Type A or B of the National Building Code of the Philippines to include: 1. site plan/civil works signed and sealed by civil engineer (showing the exact location of project, including parking areas, driveways, structures, etc.) 5 2. architectural plans signed and sealed by an architect 5 3. structural plans signed and sealed by a structural/ civil engineer 5 4. electrical plans and application duly signed and sealed by a licensed 5 professional electrical engineer 5. sanitary and plumbing plans and application duly signed and sealed by 5 sanitary engineer / master plumber. 6. mechanical plans and application duly signed and sealed by a professional mechanical engineer. 5 e. Construction specifications of the project, jointly signed and sealed by the design architect or engineer and confirmed by the owner. 5 f. Bill of materials duly signed and sealed by the corresponding licensed 5 architect/engineer. g. Structural computation and analysis duly signed and sealed by a structural/civil engineer. 5 h. Hydraulic / Flow computation for drainage/fire protection duly signed 3 and sealed by corresponding engineer. i. Geotechnical Investigation Report signed and sealed by geotechnical engineer 3 j. Log Book (for use during construction) 1
k. Photocopy of PRC. No. and PTR of engineers / architect involved the project. 2 l. Photocopy of Tax Identification Number (TIN) of owner. 1
II - Demolition Permit a. Contract of Lease / Authority to demolish 3 b. Demolition Permit Application duly signed and sealed by a licensed architect / civil engineer and concurred by the owner. 5 c. Building plans conforming to Standard form Type A or B of the National Building Code of the Philippines to include: 1. Location plan and signed and sealed by civil engineer (showing the exact location of structure to be demolished) 5 2. Removal / Demolition Plan 5
III – Excavation, Ground Preparation and Soil Investigation Permit a. Contract of Lease / Authority to construct 3 b. Excavation, Ground Preparation and Soil Investigation Permit Application duly signed and sealed by a licensed architect / civil engineer and concurred by the owner. 5 c. Building plans conforming to Standard form Type A or B of the National Building Code of the Philippines to include: 1. Location plan and existing site plan signed and sealed by civil engineer 5 (showing the exact location of area to be excavated, structures and trees to be affected by ground preparation and lot boundary) 2. Excavation plans with volume computation 5 3. Grading Plan/ Borehole location / Drainage /Disposal Plans 5
IV - Fencing Permit a. Contract of Lease / Authority to construct 3 b. Fencing Permit Application duly signed and sealed by a licensed architect / civil engineer and concurred by the owner 5 c. Building plans conforming to Standard form Type A or B of the National Building Code of the Philippines to include: 1. Location plan and site development plan signed and 5 sealed by civil engineer (showing the exact location of project, lot boundary, including parking areas, driveways, structures etc.)
2. Fencing Plan and details 5
V - Repair / Repainting Permit a. Letter from the owner with corresponding scope of work 1 b. Bill of materials / construction cost 1
VI - Certificate of Occupancy a. Certificate of Completion signed and sealed by the architect or civil engineer in-charge of the construction. 5 b. AS-BUILT plans, signed and sealed by architect / engineer(s) in-charge of the construction / installation 1. reproducible copy (ies) 1 2. blue - print copy (ies) 1 c. Log Book and Building Inspection Sheet duly accomplished 1 by the contractor and signed and sealed by the architect or civil engineer in-charge of the construction.

• Compliance to Ecology Center’s Environmental Requirements
• Compliance to Technical Requirements from other Departments
EXEMPTIONSEXEMPTIONS
Sheds, children’s playhouses and the like, not exceeding 6 sq.m.
Open terraces or patios not exceeding 20 sq.m.
Installation of window grilles Replacement of deteriorated roofing
sheets, tiles, gutters, etc. Repair of any interior partition not
involving addition or alteration Repair and replacement of plumbing
and electrical line and fixtures
