A secure, efficient, and safe environment for 24-hour member convenience was created by integrating 360º motion detectors, door contacts, IP cameras, and a door controller. HAI is the backbone of the system. Members swiping proximity cards at the main door are identified by the HAI controller, allowed access, and lights, music, and TVs are activated. After 20 minutes, lighting and entertainment turn off if no movement is detected and temperature setpoints automatically adjust. Tanning bed access is also controlled by proximity cards. Gym managers can remotely access via mobile device. Emergency alert pendants provide an extra layer of safety. IP cameras record and save video to a hard drive, further ensuring member safety.

Application SpotlightPrior to construction, goals for energy efficiency and comfort were set. The completed facility features a system that adjusts temperature settings automatically, and adjusts/activates lights automatically based on preprogrammed logic. Upon the detection of motion, heat or smoke, air conditioning is disabled, lighting cycles, and zone identifications are announced to allow faster response. Recorded videos are also provided by the system and distributed to multiple designated areas. Access Control items provide various authority levels access to designated areas. All components of the system are integrated and accessible, monitored, and controlled from phone or web access to provide a whole, convenient solution from anywhere.

Application SpotlightBattery-powered utility vehicles would often sit for extended periods without use. Personnel were required to start the vehicles and sit with them to keep the batteries charged. The garage doors had to be opened and fans activated in order to remove vehicle exhaust. As a secured area under control of security staff, the environment was perfect for an automation solution.

Vehicles were automated to start on queue while area lights and fans were activated. After 15 minutes, the vehicles and fans shut off while the doors shut themselves. The entire area is now monitored via camera to assure security and proper shutdown of all systems.

Control Card or the convenient Access Control

Key Tag to access the system. HAI offers an

Access Control Keypad that is weatherproof

Because each card or key tag is tied to a specific

user, all of the actions can also be customized for
